Bonfire Night Celebrations with Rangemaster

By Hayley Gilbert

Autumn is such a wonderful time of the year and, as the days become crisp and chilly, it’s the perfect excuse to stay in and cosy up with homecooked meals shared with family and friends. November 5th falls on a Wednesday this year, so you may be planning your bonfire night celebrations the weekend after, when you can spend a bit more time baking and making all kinds of tasty treats.

If you’re looking for foodie inspiration, Rangemaster and AGA both have a huge variety of recipes that you can cook up to take off that winter chill. You can find everything from snacks and sides to weekend bakes, starters, mains and desserts from Rangemaster here. And for AGA, head here for added extras such as vegan recipes and Around the World dishes.

This Chilli Con Carne recipe is a real crowd-pleaser and is something you can easily prepare ahead of time. For savoury snacks that you can take with you to a fireworks display or serve to guests while having your own sparkly celebration, these Marmite and Cheese Twists are oh so moreish. For dessert, this recipe for Kentish Apple Cake is perfectly in season and will leave your guests wanting more. Just add custard, cream or ice-cream to serve

Celebrating bonfire night with family and friends is what Rangemaster is all about. Its first-ever TV ad, which made its debut on September 2 during the premiere of series 16 of The Great British Bake Off, features family members gathering to celebrate what is initially thought of a newborn baby but turns out to be their excitement for a new Rangemaster range cooker instead.

The range cooker featured in the TV ad is the stunning Elise Luxe 110cm dual fuel model in Slate with Antique Brass trim. With its chic French style, choice of gas or induction hob, two large capacity ovens, deluxe glide-out grill and storage drawer, it’s all you need for family meals, entertaining at home and the big occasions such as bonfire night, Christmas, New Year and more.

Rangemaster has also been busy re-engineering its Classic and Classic Deluxe range cooker family. The latest models now come with sharper surfaces, doors with squared edges and larger viewing windows. The fascias are slimmer with a crisp white LED display while a self-adjusting magnetic plinth sits flush with any plinth line. Added benefits of the upgraded designs include reinforced door seals to improve heat retention and an enlarged 29 litre Flexi Grill and telescopic oven shelves.

The Classic cooker has a fan plus tall oven format for the 90cm and 100cm models (or twin 80 litre ovens on the 110cm) and comes in a choice of classic as well as on-trend colours including Pale Cream, Gloss Black, Misty Blue and rich Bordeaux.

The new and improved Classic Deluxe meanwhile features an eight-function multifunction oven that adds Duo (fan + base heat) and Delicate (base-only) modes while on the 110cm width, you can choose between offset configuration with a slow-cook cavity or base configuration with a bread-proving drawer.

It comes in eight colours - Pale Cream, Slate, Stone Blue, Bordeaux, Charcoal Black, Gloss Black, Heather and Mineral Green with a Chrome or Antique Brass trim and a choice of dual fuel or induction and 90cm, 100cm and 110cm widths.
