Make Mother’s Day Memorable with Rangemaster

By Hayley Gilbert

This year, Mother’s Day is on Sunday 15 March and this special day is the perfect occasion to honour and celebrate mums, mother figures and those close to us who deserve a treat. One of the most traditional ways to mark the day is to serve up a mouthwatering home-cooked roast, and what better way than with a Rangemaster range cooker.

Rangemaster is all about family. A British brand who has been part of the family since 1830, its range cookers provide the perfect central hub for cooking, socialising and creating treasured memories, including Mother’s Day with all the gang.

There are so many reasons why a Rangemaster range cooker should be your number one choice. Whether you’re looking to upgrade your current range or are designing a new kitchen from scratch, there are so many styles, sizes, colours and fuel types to pick from. From cool contemporary models to classic designs and gas, dual fuel and induction, there’s something for every cook and every home.

Its 90cm, 100cm and 110cm range cookers are still built in Rangemaster’s historic home of Royal Leamington Spa, where generations of expertise and passion for excellence are at the forefront of everything they do.

What we don’t see behind the scenes is the meticulous manufacturing process, which begins with the highest gauge steel that undergoes a rigorous series of steps. It’s pressed, cut, washed and polished before the cooker’s frame is triple-folded to create a highly durable and robust structure that then becomes your Rangemaster range cooker. Every single detail is engineered to perfection, made to stand the test of time and deliver professional results, every dish.

Once the cookers are made, they are tested and re-tested to refine the finer details and produce the very best appliance for your kitchen and your family. The unique choice of specialist features means that every kind of cook can prepare meals in any style they choose, from a Mother’s Day roast to seared steaks and tuna; from homemade sourdough to teriyaki chicken skewers.

Not all features are included on every model of range cooker, so check the specifications before you buy. Some of our favourites are the multifunction oven, which offers eight functions for flexible cooking – fan oven, conventional, fan assisted, fanned grilling, browning, defrost, base heat and duo mode. We also love the bread proving drawer, which reaches 37˚ so you can rest and rise your dough before baking, and double as a handy storage drawer for steel or aluminium baking trays.

The cast aluminium griddle is designed to sit snugly on top of the gas hob and is perfect for healthy steaks, burgers or fish, thanks to its grooved plate that drains off fat as it cooks, while the handyrack lets you open the oven door safely to check on or baste your roast without having to touch the dish.

Other features to look out for include a teppanyaki griddle, multi-ring burner, multi-zone, glide-out grill, flexi-grill, slow cook cavity and plate rack.

So, this Mother’s Day, get everyone together and make memories with a long, leisurely lunch. There are plenty of recipes here to inspire you, with everything from mains and desserts to weekend bakes, snacks, sides and starters.

And for gift ideas, these treats are just the thing…
