Easter cooking with Rangemaster

By Hayley Gilbert

Easter comes early this year with Easter Sunday being celebrated on 5 April, so don’t get caught out. Start your planning early for the perfect feast with the family.

Rangemaster has everything you need for a mouthwatering roast on Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. The new Classic and Classic Deluxe range cookers for instance, have been re-imagined for today’s family kitchen. Manufactured at its Royal Leamington Spa factory, the designs remain reassuringly familiar yet everything looks cleaner and crisper for a more contemporary feel.

The 80-litre fan oven is teamed with either a tall fan oven (for the 90cm and 100cm models) or a second full size cavity (in the 110cm cooker). Ideal for Easter celebrations, the Classic Deluxe offers an eight-function multifunction oven with Duo for crisp pastry bases and Delicate for gentle heat. The 110cm model also offers a proving drawer and slow-cook space. Take your pick from a gas or induction hob and a palette of cool colours – Pale Cream, Gloss Black, Misty Blue or Bordeaux for the Classic with the addition of Charcoal Black, Slate, Mineral Green, Stone Blue and Heather for Classic Deluxe, all with a chrome or antique brass trim.

Another new range cooker, which is all the kitchen kit you need for family celebrations, is the Nexus – a premium design with contemporary styling and exceptional cooking performance. It comes in 90cm, 100cm and 110cm widths in dual fuel or induction with a choice of five stunning colours – Stainless Steel, Black, Matt Charcoal Black, White and Slate.

This refined and refreshed range cooker features diamond-turned aluminium rotary controls, satin-finish handles with chrome accents and white LED touch display. It even has a slim, self-adjusting plinth for a flush fit with your cabinetry, perfect for open-plan schemes.

Cooking-wise, there’s so much flexibility for everyday use as well as entertaining. The induction cooker has a new series 4 hob with two separate bridging zones and large central zone for big pans, griddles and fish kettles. Dual fuel designs have a deluxe five-burner gas hob with wok cradle and griddle options depending on width.  For the ovens, the 90cm and 100cm cookers have an 80-litre multifunction oven with tall fan oven while the 110cm version offers two 80-litre ovens with slow-cook cavity or proving drawer.

If you’re planning ahead further still, keep an eye out for Rangemaster’s new extraction collection, which launches in July. There are three chimney hood designs – Whispera, Signature and Deluxe – created to complement Rangemaster’s range cookers in both classic and contemporary styles. All are available in 90cm, 100cm and 110cm widths.

Whispera is a minimalist design with whisper-quiet operation, perfect for open-plan kitchens, and three fan speeds plus boost, dimmable LED lighting and a dishwasher-safe aluminium grease filter. It comes in Stainless Steel or Matt Black and has an A+ energy rating.

For a more traditional look, Signature comes with decorative detailing to complement the Elise and soon-to-be-released Arina range cookers with stainless steel or antique brass trim and a palette of beautiful colours.

Deluxe completes the new extraction ranges, ideal for pairing with any Rangemaster range cooker and available in the full colour palette, from Pale Pink to Stone Blue, with chrome or antique brass Rangemaster badge. Added features include push-button controls, dimmable LED lighting and aluminium mesh filters.

Rangemaster range cookers come with a wide selection of specialist features, depending on model chosen, to make your life easier and create perfect results, every time. For Easter, think roast lamb and seasonal vegetables, hot cross buns and Simnel cake.

The ovens for instance, are typically 20% bigger than an average 60cm built-in oven, so you can cook more and stress less about timing for that family roast.

Its bread proving drawer heats to 37˚C, ideal for resting and rising dough before baking. It can also double up as a storage space for metal baking trays or a warming drawer for plates before serving.

For extra cooking capacity, the 4-way deluxe glide-out grill gives you four grilling depth options for every type of dish.
