New for 2022, Rangemaster has added six new built-in ovens to its cooking collection, including premium Eclipse designs with an on-trend black stainless steel trim. The series also includes two cost-effective aluminium models with easy-to-use dial controls. The Eclipse touch control ovens come with 13 cooking functions and are finished in pure black glass panelling with black steel trim for a luxe look. One of the designs features a rotisserie attachment, great for roast chicken, while another boasts Pyrolytic self-cleaning. Both come with a meat probe to take the guesswork out of cooking and maintain a safe temperature without over-roasting, telescopic runners for easy removal of baking trays, racks and cookware and a large 69-litre capacity.
Rotisseries are a really helpful tool for any cook, no matter what skill level or culinary experience. Food is cooked evenly as it rotates, basting your roast in its own juices as it turns. The result is mouth-wateringly juicy and tender with a wonderful crust on the outside.
Pyrolytic self-cleaning meanwhile heats the oven interior to a high temperature, burning off any food residue and grease to a fine ash that can simply be wiped away once cool.
The new collection of built-in ovens also includes two black glass and stainless steel models with touch controls, 13 functions and LED display as well as a Pyrolytic option. All of these ovens, including the Eclipse, come with a variety of practical and time-saving functions such as Fast Cooking for speedy suppers mid-week and a Duo setting that removes the need to pre-cook or blind bake pastry for tarts and pies, as both the base and filling will be cooked through at the same time - a great benefit for home bakers. There’s also a Delicate feature, which uses the fan to circulate heat from the base – perfect for meringues.
As part of the new collection, there are also two black and brushed aluminium ovens with metallic dials. Choose the 10 function design if you want the benefit of the Delicate and Fast Cooking modes, or the six function design for a varied selection of cooking methods including grill, fan-assisted grill and bake. Both of these have a generously sized 69-litre capacity, suitable for families as well as entertaining.
You can install these 60cm ovens either as built-under or built-in to suit your space and preferred way of working in the kitchen. Built-under allows for a hob to be fitted on top while having it installed at eye level allows you to create a bank of appliances that can also include a microwave or steam oven, coffee machine and warming drawer.
