INGREDIENTS
- 500g turkey mince
- ½ red onion , grated
- 1 garlic clove , crushed
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 red chilli, thinly sliced
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp sunflower oil
- Lettuce
- 4 burger buns
- 4 tsp sweet chilli sauce
- Cucumber, thinly sliced
- Small bunch of coriander, chopped
Serves: 4
METHOD
- In a large bowl, mix together the turkey mince, onion, garlic, red chilli, coriander, salt, pepper and egg yolk. Combine well with your hands, then shape into 4 flat burger patties.
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over a high heat, then cook the burgers for 5 mins each side or until cooked through. Toast the burger buns.
- Place the lettuce on the bottom halves of the buns, then top with the turkey burger, sliced cucumber and spread the top half of the buns with sweet chilli sauce.
