Fanned Grilling in your Multifunction Oven

Posted by Alexandra Dibble Tuesday, 26th May 2015

This is another in the series of blogs on each of the oven functions you will find on Rangemaster ovens.  I hope you find each of them useful, don’t forget, if you have any questions or comments, please let me know. A great way to grill fish, chicken, chops or sausages is to use the fanned grilling function in the multifunction oven.  This grilling is done with the oven door closed.

Using Up Leftovers

Posted by James McIntosh Monday, 18th May 2015

I don't know about your fridge but mine is full of jam jars, each full with a bit of leftover dinner from one night to the next. So what do we do with those leftovers in jars, boxes and bags in the fridge?

Tips on How to Reduce Food Waste

Posted by Gill Bland Wednesday, 6th May 2015

Not wasting food is a good thing to do in its own right, but with the knowledge that many don’t even have the luxury of being able to waste food, it’s even more important to be careful about the way in which we make use of everything. With this in mind, instead of bringing you a new recipe which might need a trip to the supermarket I thought I’d give you some tips on ways to reduce food waste. My wisdom can basically be divided into two categories: freezing things and interesting recipes.

Small Wonder

Posted by Hayley Gilbert Monday, 27th April 2015

As someone who writes about kitchens and kitchen appliances for a living, I am often asked to talk about small kitchens and the clever storage solutions and tricks of the trade that create an illusion of space. The one thing that used to be non-negotiable however was a range cooker. For that, you needed a good 90cm, 100cm or 110cm slot… but not any more. Thanks to Rangemaster, there is now a collection of 60cm designs, which are the same as their standard portfolio, only smaller.

Tasty Chelsea Bun Recipe

Posted by Emma Line Tuesday, 21st April 2015

As it’s National Bread Week and we’ve already provided you with a simple bread recipe to get you started (we hope you enjoyed it), we thought we’d also give you the chance to show off your skills with a recipe that’s a little more difficult – but just as delicious. This Chelsea Bun recipe is perfect for both beginners wanting to develop their baking skills and experienced bakers who fancy trying a new recipe - but best of all it’s fun, creative and tasty!

National Bread Week: Easy Bread Recipe

Posted by Emma Line Thursday, 16th April 2015

There’s nothing more comforting than the smell of freshly baked bread making its way through the home. Bread is a firm favourite among comfort foods, it’s versatile and can be eaten at breakfast, lunch or dinner and what’s more is that it’s easy to experiment with - so once you know the basic rules you’re able to find your very own perfect recipe.

National Bread Week is from 16th – 22nd April this year and allows us to celebrate this traditional favourite. We love National Bread Week because it gives us an excuse to bake some tasty home-made bread throughout the week (and then all year round).

Cooking using the Fan Function

Posted by Alexandra Dibble Monday, 13th April 2015

This is another in the series of blogs on each of the oven functions you will find on Rangemaster ovens.  I hope you find each of them useful. Don’t forget, if you have any questions or comments, please let me know. The FAN function or fan oven in Rangemaster range cookers is my favourite!  Quick to heat up, I can cook on 3 levels at one time; with even heat throughout I can cook just about anything using this function - from sausages to a soufflé.

Nutella Brownies - Easy Easter Baking with Kids

Posted by Gill Bland Monday, 30th March 2015

This month I’m bringing you possibly the easiest recipe known to man or, more importantly, to woman / man and child. This is school holiday baking at its most accessible. There’s no melting chocolate and no creaming of butter and sugar. All you need is a spatula and a willingness to get covered in chocolate spread. Ok, it’s not ground breaking - the recipe has been all over the internet for a good while now - but I hadn’t tried it until this weekend. I can now vouch for the fact that with only three ingredients, you can have great brownies at your fingertips.
