Paul Hollywood, who must be one of the country’s most famous bakers, made his first appearance at the Food Festival on Saturday. The heavens opened, thunder struck, but this did not dampen the packed excited audiences who came to see Paul demonstrate bread and scone making amongst other things on the AGA Rangemaster Cookery Theatre stage.
It was James Martin’s turn on Sunday, the sun shone and once again this natural performer who loves to share his passion for good food attracted sell-out crowds and delighted them with his packed recipes demonstration slots.
On Friday, one of the hottest days of year, saw Frances Quinn take to the stage which of course had a baking theme as did the whole day.
Despite the torrential rain on the Saturday the 3 day event once again proved to be a very successful event.0 Comments
