February’s London Fashion Week, which showcased what’s on trend for Autumn/Winter 2015, saw colour in every shade and spectrum. Glaswegian designer Jonathan Saunders presented a technicolour tribute with graphic slices of reds, blues, orange, pink and everything in between. Tangerine made a huge impact at the David Koma and Sibling shows, Daks went for colourful checks alongside rich red wrapwear while Emilia Wickstead chose a forties style with pops of pared-back colour.

Where fashion starts, interiors follow so with all these bursts of colour in mind, I thought I’d share the latest colours for kitchen cabinetry and appliances.

Leading German kitchen manufacturer Alno has launched almost unlimited colour options, with six ranges that can be ordered in any RAL or NCS colour you like. This colour matching service provides guaranteed colour accuracy, so you can really personalise your space. If you find it hard to pick just one, why not mix it up with a multicoloured look?

British handmade kitchen specialist Harvey Jones is also predicting a colourful kitchen trend this year, especially now summer is on its way. From contrasting island units to bold glass splashbacks, there’s sure to be something to suit. All its furniture is painted after installation, allowing customers to choose the perfect colour to suit their space.

Kenwood’s kMix small appliances are the perfect way to add a splash of colour to worktops and the iconic kMix range is now available in six pop art inspired palettes. There’s the stand mixer, blender, hand mixer, kettle and toaster in Cadmium Green, Mars Black, Vermillion Red, Summer Yellow, Majestic Blue and Zinc Grey – ideal for injecting your own style to a kitchen scheme.

For the star of the show, Rangemaster has a range cooker in a colour to suit every taste and kitchen design. For those who like a bold statement, the Elise range cooker is available in a rich palette that includes Orange, Cherry Red and China Blue. If you prefer to tone it down and stick with something sophisticated, try the Nexus in Slate, Gloss Black or White and for a traditional look, check out the Classic in Cranberry, Racing Green or Regal Blue. My current favourite has to be the Hi-LITE in Monaco Blue, as it features an illuminated fascia, which looks stunning after dark.
